The new Mahindra Scorpio is being developed in Chennai’s Research Valley, while the powertrain will be equipped with a 2.2-liter four-cylinder diesel engine with BS6 norms. This unit will generate power of 140 horsepower. In contrast, the new 2.0-liter G20 four-cylinder petrol will generate 190 horsepower and 380 Nm peak torque. Manual and automatic transmissions will be offered as standard with both engines, while the 4WD system will be sold along with the top variants of the car.
